Environmental qualification of suppliers
Suppliers answer the “Environmental Assessment Questionnaire” before being hired. If, in the performance of their activities, an environmental aspect is identified that may cause a risk of significant impact, they are oriented to meet first the environmental requirements required by uisa, before an eventual contract.
Through external audits, the Integrated Management System assesses the items answered by suppliers in the assessment questionnaire, as well as other factors considered relevant for environmental performance in line with uisa's Environmental Policy.
